Marriage Visas
K-3 visas are designated for foreign spouses of American citizens who wish to legally enter and reside in the United States as they wait for the immigration process to complete. There are certain requirements that must be met to apply for a K-3 marriage visa:
- The husband or wife that submits the request must be an American citizen.
- The American citizen must be legally married to his/her foreign spouse.
- The American husband/wife cannot be under grounds for inadmissibility to the United States and in turn disqualified to apply the process of K-3 marriage.
